  • Photo Contest Feet Fetish

    Hi my Friends,

Well, I'm recovering from my surgery.  My hubby and I spent the weekend at a Cleansing Stream Retreat. It was so amazing!    How precious is the Lord our God?  Frankly, right now we are exhausted, but I wanted to get a photo in this week's contest, so I quickly prepared one and have just submitted it.  Secretly, I have a bit of a foot fetish. I love to have my feet rubbed.  OH YEAH!!!    I had several ideas for how to shoot pix of feet, but no time.  We were in Scottsdale all weekend.  Well, I did submit a photo.  I think the idea is great, but the execution wasn't the best.  Oh well, go and check out all the great photos.  I can't wait to see which of the many really precious pix will win this week's contest.

Feel the joy and the feet!

  • I Got Tagged

    I got tagged by AngelAware!

I'm a little slow responding.  I'm still looking for five people to tag.  I have one so far.  I was told to relate three random things about myself.  So, here they are:

Here are three random things about me...... 1) Music can move me to tears -- all kinds, all styles.  Love music.  2)  I almost drowned when I was 11.  Funny part was, my parents saw me drowning and instead of jumping into Lake Calhoun (in Minneapolis) to save me, they spent several moments arguing whether or not it was me drowning or someone else.  I am still slightly damaged from that one.  3) I recently watched a DVD about the Star of Bethlehem, it was truly one of the most exciting things I have ever seen.  We bought it from TBN website.  I encourage everyone to see if they get a chance.  It's amazing and will make you cry. http://www.bethlehemstar.net/ There!  I've paid my debt AngelAware.   Love you my Friend.

Now here's the RULES for "3 Random Things"

    1. Post three random things about yourself.

    2. Link to the person who tagged you in your post.

    3. Tag at least five other bloggers.

    4. Let them know you've tagged them by commenting on their blog with an invitation to participate in the blog.

I don't have five people yet.  But I am blogging my new Xanger friend, Dee at myamusementpark.

Beware if you're reading this.  I may blog you too.  Isee

  • Update

    Hi Xangers,

I have been so busy, I had to blogging with my X-er friends on hold while I finish up all the projects I'm working on to date.

Here's the laundry list: we are preparing to take 30 people to the Cleansing Stream Retreat in Scottsdale, Arizona.  This is an amazing time of healing and blessing.  If you ever get a chance to go to a Cleansing Stream event.  Do it!  The experience will change your life.

The weekend after, we will be in Rio Rico for a Leadership Retreat.  We are also planning to attend our son's (step-son for me) graduation from medical school.  Then later we are taking the entire family to North Carolina to visit my 92, soon to be 93-year old father-in-law.

This week, I am studying for a final.  I am taking a class at the community college in math fundamentals.  I really am clueless   when it comes to math.  I decided to broaden my horizons.  Still the studying alone, might kill me.

And finally, I am preparing for yet another surgery.  God is good and life is gastly (sometimes).  Thank goodness I have God in my life, or is that thank God-ness, I have good in my life?  Oh well, praise the Lord Jesus in everything.

    Have a blessed week.  Isee

  • Happy Mother's Day!

Hello to all the Mother's I know,

And I know lots.   Happy Mother's Day to you!   I want to wish you all the best of the best on your special day.  I am actually not a Mom, unless you count being a dog mom.  This is surely one of the greatest regrets in my life.  Recently, doctors told me I cannot have children of my own.  I am very saddened by this.    But life is full of disappointments and this is truly one of mine.

On a happier note, I received flowers from my step children on Friday. You could have blown me away I was so shocked.    No really, I mean it.  I have been happily married to my husband for six years now.  He had been married before for 19 years, and they had two children, a boy and a girl.  When we got together, both his kids were already in college, so I had nothing to do with raising them.  But I tried to be friendly and to build a relationship, but without success.    No really, I mean it the kids acted like I was not even on the face of the earth.  It hurt, but I tolerated it.  It really proved the point that being a step-mother is like setting your own hair on fire and then trying to put the flames out with a hammer.  I understood that sensation, but accepted it.

My husband and I have been praying about his children and we take the flowers as sign that the Lord is working in their hearts and is making all things new.  I praise the Lord Jesus for his faithfulness and can't wait to see how things progress over the next few years.

Attached is a few pics of my beautiful flowers.  Thanks to the kids: Lani and Brad. (In reality, they will never see this website), but thanks anyway.   Love to you all, Isee....

  • CONGRATS TO ALL THE WINNERS!

I want to acknowledge the other contestants too.  You are such talented and visionary artists that I must tell you all how much I enjoy, not only your water photos, but your contest submissions.  You are one great group of photographers and I am learning so much about shooting pix in my camera through your examples.

A special acknowledgement to GadgetGypsy.  I loved your picture of "hold your breath."  In fact, I voted for it. If you haven't checked out Gadget's pix, you need to.  She has the most amazing pictures of the nature and beauty of Hawaii on her site, along with many other interesting photos.  She lives in Hawaii and has all kinds of great opportunities to shoot amazing pictures.

I also want to congratulate the other contest winners. Galvalumegirl tied for second place with her great photo called "Thirsty".  Galvalumegirl is always in the winner's cirlce on this website.  She is one amazing photographer.  I love her talent and her perspective.  Great job!

Kathy, of Quilt_Cats won third place for "Showers of Blessing."  I don't know her or her work all that well, but Congrats to you too.

Finally, I want to mention my favorites from this week's contest.  I loved, loved, loved Gledsome's pic of "My cup runneth over."  The composition, color, clarity and beauty of your photo was really awesome.  Great job! And Vanessa's picture of "Stream of Life" was truly amazing.  How did you shoot that pic Nessa?  My hubby thought you froze the water, but I know you didn't.  What's your secret?  Check out Betsafly's gallery of photos.  She is always highlighting her pix and the talents of other photographers as well.

Great job everyone!  Look forward to seeing your work next week. Isee

Congrats on your feet! That was very cute. I never did make it back to vote, family issues kept interrupting! I couldn't decide between yours & the feet in the sand, anyway.
